Piers Morgan divides fans with reaction to King Charles first national address

Piers Morgan has divided the public with his reaction to King Charles III's first national address.

Speaking to the nation, His Majesty the King pledged the rest of his life to the United Kingdom, while paying his respects to his late mother who passed away on September 8.

Taking to Twitter to react to King Charles' national address, the TalkTV broadcaster penned a tweet which read: "That was a great speech by a good man. The Queen is dead… Long live The King!"

Quote retweeting Piers' reaction, one person wrote: "Can’t say that, that’s someone’s mum."

Another then echoed: "Her body’s still warm, show some class Pearce [Piers]."
