Piers Morgan’s TalkTV show in disarray as Jeremy Kyle replaces ex-GMB presenter

Jeremy Kyle has been forced to step in for TalkTV presenter Piers Morgan after the ex-GMB host ditched the network to play golf.

Former ITV star Jeremy posted a frank video to his Twitter page calling out his channel co-star, telling fans that he will instead be at the helm of his flagship show for two nights.

Jeremy replaced Piers on Wednesday and Thursday this week (September 28th and 29th).

Speaking in a candid video online, Jeremy said: “Afternoon gang. You know in life when you finally suss out where you stand in the scheme of things?

“So I’m really excited about JK Live launching on October 10th, [and] thought I’d have a couple of weeks with [wife] Vic [Burton] and the kids and [son] Ollie and just hang out. Not a bit of it.”

Clearly offended, Jeremy explained that bosses had phoned him up to see if he could fill in for Piers, quoting: “‘Would you like to do Piers Morgan’s show today and tomorrow?’ ‘Of course if I can help out, what’s wrong, is he ill?’ ‘No he’s not ill.’

“‘Why isn’t he there then?’ ‘He wants to play golf.’ ‘He wants to play golf?! Where?!’”

It then emerged that Piers wanted to take part in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St. Andrews in Fife, Scotland.

Jeremy was told: “It’s very very important, lots of showbiz people.

“He wants me to do his show so he can play golf! I’m thinking to myself, ‘at least he didn’t ask me to caddy!’”

The ex-Jeremy Kyle Show host then addressed Piers directly as he said: “Listen i hope the weather’s great Piers! It’s going to be drier in my studio! I hope you don’t shank it in the sea, son.

“I’ll just get on and do my best, tah rah!”

Cheekily captioning his clip on Twitter, Jeremy said: “You wait, he’ll probably want me to caddy for him next!” tagging Piers in the tweet and using the hashtags #MissingInAction and #Takeover.

It comes after Piers took a “long break” from his Piers Morgan Uncensored show back in May this year, following a swathe of low viewing figures.

A report in May 18 showed that his audience fell to just 24,000 people during a primetime evening slot, down from an initial average of 317,000 viewers pair night at launch.
