Rod Stewart has called into The Sarah-Jane Mee show on numerous occasions but today joined her in the studio as he admitted he’s a fan of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Sarah-Jane said: “We have gone full circle. Thank you for coming in, I mean you pick your moments, don’t you?
“I mean when you first spoke to us on Sky News it was about the NHS crisis and you have come in today, to a government again in crisis, you have seen the news about Boris Johnson.
“The committee of MPs finding out that he lied to parliament, essentially he is a disgraced ex-prime minister now. What do you make of it all?”
Rod explained: “You know I was and still am a bit of a fan of Boris, I think he has wonderful charisma but you knew what you were getting with Boris.
“So it’s not unusual that he has told a few porkies over the years and I am not surprised he is in big trouble now.
“But how is he going to make a comeback, I don’t know. Maybe he should talk to me, I have been making comebacks for years.”
