Stephen uses Leo's phone to make it look like he's still alive in Corrie?
Like many killers, Stephen (Todd Boyce) returned to the scene of his crime in tonight’s Coronation Street and made an important discovery.
While scoping out the bin that had previously housed Leo’s (Joe Frost) body, Stephen spotted an incriminating piece of evidence on the floor.
Leo’s phone!
He was quick to pick it up, knowing that if the phone was found by anyone else then word would get out that Leo hadn’t made it to Canada after all.
In fact, having Leo’s phone in his possession could be a great asset to Stephen.
With Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) and Leo’s dad, Teddy (Grant Burgin) both left with unanswered questions surrounding his ‘move’, Stephen has the perfect weapon to ease their minds and stop them from digging any further.
Could Stephen use Leo’s phone to make it look like Leo is still alive?
Tonight, we saw him decline a video call from a heartbroken Jenny, almost getting caught out by Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw) in the process.
Could this have sparked an idea for him?
We’ve seen Scheming Stephen go to great lengths to cover his tracks before, so impersonating a dead man doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch for him.
