Strictly Come Dancing is midway through its 20th anniversary season with celebrities desperate to impress the judges each week. Sadly, another couple must leave the competition during the Sunday night results show, but who that will be is up to the experts’ scores and the public vote. Here’s everything there is to know about watching the latest Strictly.

What time is Strictly on tonight?

Strictly Come Dancing returns for Halloween Week on Saturday, October 28, at 6.50pm on BBC One.

This is a slightly later time than previous weeks as the cast of 2022 is gradually diminishing, so there are not as many performances to look forward to.

Week six is a memorable one in the calendar as it’s Halloween Week, so the couples get to dress up and embrace their inner evil.

In the lead-up to the big night, the celebrities’ songs and dances have been released.

Here are what the contestants will be dancing to for Halloween Week 2022:

Ellie and Nikita: Foxtrot to Scooby Doo, Where Are You? by David Mook and Ben Raleigh

Tyler and Dianne: Cha Cha Cha to Day-O (The Banana Boat Song) by Tanz Orchester Klaus Hallen

Fleur and Vito: Salsa to Break My Soul by Beyoncé

Kym and Graziano: Rumba to Frozen by Madonna

Will and Nancy: Mama Told Me Not To Come by Tom Jones and Stereophonics

Molly and Carlos: Argentine Tango to Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) by Kate Bush

Hamza and Jowita: Tango to Wicked Game by Chris Isaak

Helen and Gorka: Foxtrot to Lil’ Red Riding Hood by Sam The Sham & The Pharaohs

James and Amy: Charleston to Bumble Bee by LaVern Baker

Ellie and Johannes: Couple’s Choice to I Put A Spell On You by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy

Tony and Katya: Quickstep to The Devil Went Down To Georgia by The Charlie Daniels Band

The results from this week’s show will come out the following evening on Sunday, October 30, at 7.20pm.

The judges’ scores and the public vote are going to be combined to determine the bottom two.

They will once again have to take to the floor in a final bid to convince the judges they need to be saved.

As well as the results, there will be a performance from singer Rina Sawayama.

Last week, it was comedian Jayde Adams’ turn to leave the competition for good as she was the fourth celebrity to be voted off.

She danced the Charleston alongside her partner Karen Hauer to the comical song The Ballad of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It), written and performed by comedian Victoria Wood.

The pair was awarded a decent score of 28 points with Motsi Mabuse commenting on how she was “one of the best performers” in the show.

Sadly, it was her dance moves that needed improving, particularly at this stage of the competition.

The judges unanimously voted to save presenter Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu in the dreaded dance-off.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday, October 28, at 6.50pm on BBC One.
