Strictly Come Dancing has once again been at the centre of some fan fury as the axed couple's identity leaked online.

The BBC pre-record the weekly results show straight after the live shows, which means select 'moles' in the audience are free to leak the spoiler – despite being against the rules of the show.

This week, fans have said the "right person" left after a very tense semi-final saw Fleur East, Molly Rainford, Will Mellor, Hamza Yassin and Helen Skelton all battle it out.

Four stars will now go through to the final next weekend, on Saturday December 17th.

Taking to Twitter to share their reactions, one viewer said: "I'm pleased that we have the correct finalists."

Someone else agreed: "Yeah on dancing alone I’m not surprised this week. [They were] the weakest one this week which is a shame."

A third fan posted: "Right person went in the end!! Thank you for this at least I won’t have to watch the results show now!"

"Thank god for that, the right person went, so happy with final 4," someone else echoed.

It comes after the Strictly Spoiler blog – run by Dave Thorp – confessed he was struggling to find an audience mole last night (December 11).

Taking to Twitter, he revealed: "Sorry guys but that’s about me for the night as I have a lecture at 9am I’ve no mole and other (reputable) sources are struggling too.

"There will be a spoiler but it’s either going to be overnight or early morning if a mole comes through or I have my other source I used in Covid."
