Strictly’s Dianne Buswell reveals surprise friendship with Love Island star | The Sun

STRICTLY Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has revealed she has a surprise friendship with Love Islander Jessie Wynter.

On Monday, Australian star Jessie touched down back in the UK with boyfriend Will Young after getting dumped from Love Island just a day before the final.

Keeping in good spirits, earlier today Will and Jessie shared a look at their time together in England – including a visit to Buckingham Palace and a trip to Will's farm in Buckinghamshire, where they tended to baby lambs.

Thanking fans for their support, the couple celebrated their time on the show and looking forward to the future.

Among those congratulating them was Strictly professional Dianne, who reached out to Jessie.

In the comments, Dianne said: "So happy for you babe !!! Your a uk chick now !!!!! We must catch up !!!!"

"Thanks chick! Yess, well overdue," Jessie responded, prompting Dianne to joke about their boyfriends "Thatcher Joe and Farmer Will".

It's not officially known how Dianne and Jessie know each other – how ever both are Australian-born.

Dianne, who originally hails from Bunbury, has been living in the UK since 2017, when she first joined the Strictly line-up.

She currently lives in Suffolk with boyfriend Joe Sugg, whom she met on the show when he competed with her in 2018.

Before finding fame on YouTube, Joe worked as a roof thatcher, and as a result was known by the username ThatcherJoe at the beginning of his career.

Jessie on the other hand, was originally born in Tasmania before moving to Sydney, and is seven years younger than Dianne.

She joined Love Island on day eight of the winter series, immediately finding a connection with Will. She'd previously appeared on the Australian Love Island.

Despite a rough patch thanks to Casa Amor, Will and Jessie have remained steady but were dropped from the show just before the final after being voted the "most incompatible" by their fellow islanders.

Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan won the winter 2023 series on Monday night, earning the £50,000 prize.

Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall were runners up, Tom Clare and Samie Elishi came in third place, with Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga coming in fourth.

Next Sunday, the entire gang is set to be brought back together in Love Island: The Reunion – which could see fireworks considering what's been said away from the cameras.
