The Handmaid’s Tale has taken viewers by storm after it first premiered on Hulu in 2017, leaving many on the edge of their seats, each week. As the season five finale draws closer, June Osborne star Elisabeth Moss confirmed she knows how the sixth and final season would conclude.

Throughout the seasons, fans have watched the nail-biting scenes as June attempted numerous times to escape the totalitarian society of Gilead.

After being plucked from freedom and forced to work as a Handmaid, she spent four seasons trying to reunite with her husband Luke Bankole (played by O T Fagbenle).

She also hoped to rescue her daughter Hannah Bankole (Jordana Blake) who had been ripped from her arms and placed with a new family in Gilead.

After fighting for freedom against their brutal regimes and being severely punished, time and time again, June finally became a free woman in season four.

Despite becoming a Canadian refugee, her focus remained the same as she worked with her husband and best friend Moira Strand (Samira Wiley) to bring down Gilead.

Although she had taken the legal route, her capturer Fred Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) had gained immunity.

A furious June was able to orchestrate his death after she teamed up with other ex handmaids and beat him to death.

Luke and June now have to race against time to save their 12-year-old daughter before Gilead forces her to become a wife.

With one more episode left of season five, fans are eager to learn if Hannah will return to safety this week or in the sixth and final season.

Actress Elisabeth admitted she knows how the show will end, as she confirmed on Jimmy Kimmel Live: “I do,” but remained tight-lipped about the storyline.

When asked if the rest of the cast ask about the end, Elisabeth replied: “No, no one’s asked, no one’s interested.

“I do know how it ends, I don’t know everything but I do know kind of the idea of what we’re going for.”

The Handmaid’s Tale’s Serena Joy star refuses to ‘ruin’ final episode [INSIGHT]

During season five, the tables had turned for June and her captor Serena Joy (Yvonne Strahovski).

Serena found herself begging for June’s help after she realised she was slowly becoming a Handmaid for the Wheelers.

To make matters worse, June helped Serena give birth in a barn but after they arrived at the hospital Serena was screaming for June when child services took her newborn.

What came after was a harsh contrast to the freedom June once longed for after Serena was able to escape with her baby in episode nine.

During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Yvonne refused to “ruin,” the season five finale but dropped a cryptic hint.

She teased: “All I will say is that, whatever people are expecting to happen, it’s not the thing that’s going to happen.”

With her baby Noah in her arms, Serena was able to hitchhike but it’s yet to be seen if she will face similar consequences to June.

The Handmaid’s Tale season 5 concludes Wednesday, November 8 on Hulu in the USA and is available on Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
