Tipping Point viewers were left fuming on the latest episode of the ITV gameshow after noticing a contestant’s “annoying” habit.

Friday afternoon's episode fronted by Ben Shephard show saw Hassan, Julia and Derek take on the coin machine in the hope of winning a cash jackpot.

In the opening round, contestants on the popular ITV gameshow are asked a series of questions in which they can buzz in on.

One of today's contestants, Hassan, was a whizz in the opening round but soon left fans frustrated after he passed multiple times without using any of his counters on the machine.

Dozens of viewers took to Twitter in their droves to vent their frustrations.

“That’s the FOURTH time Hassan has passed. He must pay for his wan*ery. #TippingPoint,” blasted one viewer.

“Well, at least he isn’t miles ahead for pass-wan*ering. He’s done well with it though as dislikable as he’s becoming #tippingpoint,” added another, while a third added: “Hassan has passed four times in a row and it’s driving me nuts.“

Hassan soared into the lead, with player Julia being the first to be knocked out.

He was left in the final two with Derek after bagging £2750 vs his £1750.

Hassan took on the machine once again in a bid to land the £10,000 jackpot counter.

Fans were further engraged by his gameplay after he chose to play for one counter instead of three, ensuring an easier question, when he believed he wouldn’t know the answer.

“I never understand why people go for anything other than 3 counters per question in the final round. If you don't know it, you don't know it. Give yourself the best chance to get that jackpot and put as many in as possible #tippingpoint.”

“Indeed. ALWAYS go for THREE COUNTERS! God knows how this clown got to the final, other than a lucky drop earlier on, it seems. I've forgotten his name, but he doesn't seem the fastest around.”

Hassan didn't have much luck in the machine and after bagging £3450, he decided not to take the trade and took home the money.
