A TOP US popstar looked completely unrecognisable as she let her hair down at a lavish showbiz bash.
The American Idol judge and Straight Up pop princess, 60, turned heads in a stunning green diamante gown.
The star wore the chic semi-sheer dress at reality star Kathy Hilton's annual Christmas party.
Yet fans were stunned as they realised the star posing by Paris Hilton's mother, and later by the socialite, was in fact a fresh-faced Paula Abdul.
She showed her fun side by hopping behind DJ Paris' decks to help with the party soundtrack.
Laker Girl Paula originally rose to fame choreographing Janet Jackson's music videos before having hits of her own in the late 80s and early 90s.

The Opposites Attract hitmaker looked glowing with her youthful new look, which many fans praised as "incredible."
She wore her caramel brown hair falling in loose waves over her shoulders, with fresh make-up and a baby pink lip gloss.
She flashed a huge smile to show off her gleaming white teeth as she posed next to host Kathy.
Paula gushed on her Instagram caption: "@kathyhilton always throws the most fabulous holiday party. Merry Christmas!

Back in 2019, Paula revealed she had a little help with her youthful new look.
She told how she had undergone a jawline lift in a candid admission about her intention for a sleeker, tighter jawline.
She told former US chat show host Wendy Williams that she wanted to keep her looks young and fresh, but shied away, she said, from having a full face lift.
“It's a radio frequency laser technique. You can get numb [before] or if you're a wimp like me, they can give you an Ativan,” she said as she proudly showcased her jawline.
She said it was quick and she was enjoying the effects of the painkillers.
“[It took] An hour, maybe even less. I don't remember, I remember being a little loopy. What I love about it there's no visible scars, no big incision.”
