Vernon Kay mortified over baffling confession on Tipping Point Lucky Stars
Dion Dublin made a shock confession on tonight's Tipping Point Lucky Stars, infuriating fellow contestant Vernon Kay.
Vernon Kay, Dion Dublin, and Amanda Barrie were tonight's three celebrity guests on the star-studded episode of the ITV spinoff.
After a particularly rocky start from Corrie star Amanda, the 87-year-old was booted off, and the two remaining men were to battle it out for the Tipping Point jackpot.

Former football player Dion had so far been impressing audiences with his trivia knowledge, securing a whole host of correct answers.
But it was a question from host Ben Shepherd that stumped Dion, and led to his shock confession.
Ben quizzed Dion: "In the opening titles of the TV show The Simpsons, which character is scanned at the supermarket checkout?"
The answer was, of course, Maggie Simpson.
But the 54-year-old former football player's answer was what shocked his fellow contestants.
Dion brashly admitted, "I have never seen one episode of The Simpsons, ever."
An astounded Vernon Kay quickly responded, "Get out. I WIN! Are you serious?", to which Dion confirmed, "Not one episode."
Viewers around the nation immediately took to Twitter to share their outrage.
One user tweeted their agreement with Vernon, writing: "@vernonkay took to words right out of my mouth @DionDublinsDube GET OUT never seeing the Simpsons".
Another agreed, "@DionDublinsDube never seen an episode of the Simpsons , my arse dion ffs".
One account responded to the admission using a hilarious picture, writing "Never seen the Simpsons." and attached a picture of popular meme format of an unimpressed child, known as Chloe from Disneyland.
Host Ben did not seem to share in Vernon's outrage, but had a similarly surprised response, declaring, "That's amazing. So, you've never seen an episode, do you know any of the characters?"
Dion responded with some choice words: "Yes, I know that there's a little chunky little baby that has something in her mouth. There's a chunky Dad who's got a really big fat tummy…
"I think it's the Dad."
Ben kept his cool, querying, "Do you know what the Dad's name was?" to which Dion responded "No. The big geezer."
Unable to answer the question, Dion forfeited his turn to Vernon, who correctly answered the trivia with, "It's the baby that sucks the dummy, called Maggie."
Users again took to Twitter to respond to Dion's words, with one unhappy at his language.
The account wrote, "Nice one Dion Dublin for body shaming both Maggie and Homer Simpson in your answer
"It's 2023 don't you know!"
Dion's blunder did not seem to affect his performance, as he went on to win the game, as well as the jackpot for his charity.
