The 51-year-old first rose to fame in 2012, when a Channel 4 documentary revealed his efforts to reform the country's banking system.

David "Dave" Fishwick is a businessman, TV presenter, and author.
Fishwick was born in Lancashire in March 1971 – making him 51 years old.
He made his millions by founding his own minibus sales company.
His business is now the UK's biggest supplier of new and used minibuses, mini-coaches and wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

In 2011, Dave set up Burnley Savings And Loans, a private lending company which became the subject of the Channel 4 series Bank Of Dave.
Dave vowed: “My bank may be tiny but it will be better than a High Street bank.
“Hard-working and honest people can no longer get loans. I can’t do much worse than the greedy and reckless banks."
In 2017, he was the subject of another Channel 4 show called Dave's Guide To Spending Money in which he used his entrepreneurial skills to sell bottled tap water.

"I enjoy taking on the bullies, they don’t frighten me.’
Within six months the company, known for its slogan Bank On Dave, had made a profit of over £10,000 which was donated to a mixture of local charities.

David Fishwick has been married to his biochemist wife Nicola for 28 years.
The couple first met at a garage while he was building his supply business empire.
They have two children called Sarah and Connor.
