Elite Russian female bodyguard troop open fire in intense drills as they’re trained to protect Putin's pals | The Sun

FEMALE bodyguards practise essential combat skills at Russian Special Forces University as they prepare to protect Putin's oligarch pals.

They were put through their paces at the opening ceremony of a female bodyguard training course in Chechnya, Russia.

Women can be seen decked out in camo and fighter gear as they train in combat and shooting.

The female trainees have been pictured in an outdoor shooting range as they prepare for guarding Russia’s most elite personnel.

This intense training course seems to be gearing up the women to become private bodyguards, which almost all of Putin’s pals and Russian oligarchs hire as part of their entourage.

They can also be seen carrying out intense practical drills by shielding the door of a car with their gun in hand.

The women stand around the parked vehicle, aiming their weapons ahead at an imaginary threat while learning how to protect Vlad’s VIP mates.

Another image depicts the unarmed self-defence training the women are taking on as they brush up on their martial arts skills.

They throw punches at boxing bags and fight one another in combat exercises, covering all bases for any type of attack.

Chaotic roleplays of getting a person into and out of a car while under attack is also carried out as part of this Special Forces training.

On the wall of the classroom where the female trainees learn the theory around the combat exercises, are the portrait shots of Putin and the Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov.

The Russian Special Forces University has reportedly trained many of the fighters who have been dispatched to Ukraine after the February 2022 invasion.

"To date, more than 9,000 fighters have already been trained at the University; and this is far from the limit of all the possibilities," Kadyrov has stated in his Telegram channel.

The Russian Special Forces University was set up by the warlord in 2013 and intended to teach modern methods of training in special tactical disciplines.

The huge project takes up over 400 hectares in the Chechen town of Gudermes and is devoted to the training of special forces.

Programs at the university include fire training, combat diving, state security, martial arts, first aid, tactical-special training and military medical training.

"The recruits are not only taught to competently perform combat missions; they are explained the true reasons for conducting the SMO (special military operation) in Ukraine, which greatly increases their motivation," the Telegram channel of the Russian Special Forces University stated.

This follows the story of Putin’s alleged mistress being spotted last year surrounded by all-female “bodyguards”.

The former Olympic gymnast Alina Kabaeva was snapped in St Petersburg flanked with plain-clothed female bodyguards while she was rumoured to be pregnant.
