Girl, 4, 'assaulted by drunk man' in Tesco as cops appeal to find hero who stepped in to help | The Sun

A YOUNG girl is thought to have been “assaulted by a drunk man” near a Tesco’s store, as cops appeal to the hero who stepped in to help.

Police were called to the supermarket in Bewell Street, Hereford, at around 7.15pm on April 29.

A man was arrested for drunk and disorderly and assault and remains in police custody.

During the incident a little girl aged 4-5-year-old, who is thought to have been with her father, was assaulted.

West Mercia Police has appealed for the man who intervened to come forward and speak to them.

Cops have also appealed for anyone who was in the area at the time to approach them as well.
