Horrifying CCTV shows man stabs shop worker with screwdriver in random attack

A shocking video emerged showing a fruit shop worker being stabbed in the shoulder by a man in broad daylight.
The violent attack took place when the 33-year-old restocking the fruits in front of the Mr Mango fruit and vegetable market in the Brooklyn neighbourhood in New York City, US, on Wednesday afternoon.
Security camera shared by New York Police Department on Thursday shows a man in red T-shirt and black shorts coming up to the worker before he pulls out a screwdriver.

He stabs the unsuspecting man in the shoulder and flees the scene.
The attacker was last seen running toward Fort Greene Park.
Police are now appealing for the public's help to identify the assailant as they try to track down the suspect.
Officers confirmed that as of Friday (July 29) morning, no arrests have been made in this case.
They said in a statement: "Unprovoked, the individual stabbed his shoulder with a screwdriver causing a minor puncture wound to his right shoulder."
It was not clear whether the victim required hospitalisation as result of his injury.
Meanwhile in the Dyker Heights neighbourhood in New York City, a man was spotted on CCTV pulling a trolley covered with a white sheet at night, pushing it onto a driveaway and dumping a corpse before making a getaway.
According to the New York Post, a male suspect was seen on a private security camera pushing the body onto the property just 12 hours earlier.

Police said the body had no obvious signs of trauma. A medical examiner is due to determine the cause of death.
Austeria Bolden, 63, saw the body and was "traumatised". She told the New York Post: "I just saw the body laying there.
"He was laying face down on the ground – now it's in my mind and I'm worried. I'm scared for my grandkids."
