A child who suffered a medical emergency at a trampoline park is fighting for his life after having been airlifted to hospital. 

The boy was found in critical condition at AIREA51 jump park in Stafford Park, Telford on Sunday afternoon, The Mirror reported.

Paramedics administered advance life support before the child was flown to the Royal Stoke University Hospital for further care. His current condition is unknown.

The trampoline park was closed yesterday but is expected to reopen today, according to a post on its Facebook page.

First responders were called to AIREA51 on Sunday around 3pm following reports of a medical emergency. 

‘Crews found a child in a critical condition,’ West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson Amy Stubbs told the newspaper.

‘Ambulance staff administered advanced life support which continued en route to Royal Stoke Hospital where he was airlifted to for further treatment.’
