Another uniformed officer ran to the end of the platform, but refrained from jumping onto the tracks to follow the youngster.

After he wasn’t seen on the video for a few seconds, British transport police officers gathered to command the teenager to stop.

Moments later he emerged from the shadows and ran next to the tracks to the end of the tunnel.

He climbed over a fence and escaped out of sight, with the police officers left standing on the platform.
