Prince Archie has been tipped for a "big moment" during the coronation of King Charles, despite his parents not yet confirming their attendance.

Sussex duo Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have received an "email correspondence" confirming their invitation to King Charles' coronation, but are yet to announce their presence at the historic event.

Should the pair appear at the King of England's coronation on May 6, it appears their eldest child Prince Archie will receive his very own "big moment", Express reported.

Comments from a royal expert have indicated the youngster could face some time in the spotlight in what would mark his "first big moment".

Royal commentator Andrea Caamano speculated on how Prince Archie could appear in the coronation proceedings should the Sussex family make an appearance.

Speaking on A Right Royal Podcast, she said: "I expect to see Meghan and Harry and I do expect to see Archie.

"Archie will be four years old on the day. Charles was four when his mother was crowned and so I think we will see Archie. And I think it’ll be his first big Prince Archie moment."

An appearance from the young royal would mark his first public appearance at a royal event, and would also coincide with his fourth birthday.

But an insider has since claimed the Sussex duo would like the birthday of Prince Archie mentioned during the coronation.

Speaking to OK!, the insider revealed: "Archie's birthday falls on May 6th, coronation day and the Sussexes want the family to recognise that.

"The Sussexes have asked for some kind of celebration or acknowledgement to be factored into the day's plans to ensure that his fourth birthday won’t get lost during the momentous day."

Daily Star previously reported the sway Harry and Meghan could hold over the coronation, with the pair potentially set to "exploit their popularity" at King Charles' celebration.
