A TROPHY hunter has been found shot dead in his truck in a 'cold blood' execution-style murder.

Riaan Naude, 55, who ran the company Pro Hunt Africa regularly shared snaps of himself posing next to lions, elephants and other animals he had killed.

The was reportedly found next to his car on Marken Road, Limpopo, South Africa.

According to local outlet Maroela Media two hunting rifles, clothes, water, whiskey and pyjamas were found in his car.

The Heritage Protection Group (HPG), a non-profit crime-fighting organisation said the 55-year-old had pulled his truck off the road, about 3 miles from Mokopane after it overheated.

It said that a white Nissan stopped next to the vehicle and two men came out with one of them shooting Naude at close range.
