Prince Albert married South African former Olympic swimmer Charlene Wittstock in July 2011.
The couple share two children, twins Gabriella Thérèse Marie and Jacques Honoré Rainier.
The prince also has two other children – who were born out of wedlock – Jazmin Grace Grimaldi and Alexandre Grimaldi-Coste.
He is a graduate of Political Science, studying at Amherst College.
Albert is a keen sportsman having competed in the bobsleigh at five consecutive Winter Olympics for Monaco.
