Adele’s outing came as she finally confirmed the rescheduled dates for her residency, months after leaving fans thousands of pounds out of pocket when she pulled the plug on her shows with just 24 hours notice.

The superstar had been set to open her Weekends with Adele show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace back in January but cancelled at the last minute.

After rescheduled dates for the gig were leaked last week, the singer took to Instagram on Monday to confirm the show will start in November as she thanked fans for their ‘patience’ and revealed that priority will be given to existing ticket holders.

‘Now I know for some of you it was a horrible decision on my part, and I will always be sorry for that, but I promise you it was the right one.

‘To be with you in such an intimate space every week has been what I’ve most been looking forward to and I’m going to give you the absolute best of me.

The  new dates come after it was reported that the Easy On Me hitmaker had been motivated to ‘push forward’ with rescheduling her Sin City shows after returning to the stage for two sell-out gigs at Hyde Park in London at the beginning of July.

A source told The Sun: ‘Adele loved performing in London and it gave her the drive to push forward with her Vegas residency.

‘An announcement is coming in the next few weeks. Management have asked for a celebration to promote her return.’

Back in January, the Grammy Award winning songstress wept as she explained to fans that she had ‘tried everything’ to get her show up and running but Covid had ‘destroyed’ everything.

She said in a video shared to her social media channels: ‘I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready.

‘We’ve tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid.

‘Half my crew and team are [ill] with Covid and still are, and it’s been impossible.’

The star was reportedly unhappy with the staging, which involved her singing the songs in a mocked-up swimming pool. But her decision infuriated fans, many of whom had forked out thousands to travel long distances to the gigs.

Chilling out: Adele was later seen wrapped up in a floral towel after enjoying her boat trip

Natural beauty: Adele went makeup-free on the outing and wore her glossy locks in a loose ponytail

Earlier this month, during a performance at BST Festival in Hyde Park London, the singer said she was utterly ‘mortified’ at having to cancel the shows, saying the last thing she wanted was to ‘let people down’.

The Grammy-winning star was performing her first UK gig in five years as she told the crowds that she ‘takes singing very seriously’.

She told the crowd: ‘I know that a lot of things have happened with this album and I’m sure a lot of you feel that you’ve been let down and stuff, which is mortifying really and upsetting to me.

Insiders in the Caesars Palace camp told TMZ in May that the resort and Live Nation had to arrive at a workable arrangement with the singer within a month in order for the show to go forward.

Out and about: Adele was soaking up the sunshine as she relaxed on the deck of her luxury yacht

Adele’s boyfriend Rich, a top-flight sports agent, had apparently entered the negotiations on the show, which is allegedly projected to make $150 million.

The sources said that Adele had multiple bones of contention about the show, including but not limited to the choir and the sound system.

Caesars insiders also cited a disagreement over a swimming pool that was meant to be part of the concert set.

Previously, rumours circulated that Adele fought with the set designer over the water feature.

In April, Adele reportedly fired her creative team and hired a whole new one in a bid to help save her postponed residency.

She is understood to have split with the creative team behind the residency and instead drafted in Take That’s creative expert to take the reins.

Meanwhile, Stufish are the production designers who are behind the Rolling Stones upcoming 60th anniversary tour and Stormzy’s Heavy is the Head tour.
