Bruce Willis reunites with ex Demi Moore and 5 kids in rare snap after diagnosis

Bruce Willis has been pictured with his ex wife Demi Moore and his five children, as they celebrated the festive season with his current wife Emma Heming Willis.

The happy family photo comes after the actor, 67, was diagnosed with the language disorder aphasia, which affects the ability to communicate.

Taking to Instagram, Demi, 60, shared several snaps of the family getting ready for Christmas. Her caption read: "We are FAMILY!! Getting into the holiday spirit!”

In the pictures, the extended family can be seen smiling together in front of a Christmas tree, having dinner and snuggling with their pet dogs.

Many fans couldn't help but gush about the family photos. One person wrote: "I hate that Bruce is dealing with such a difficult condition but oh how much love can heal and comfort us. Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos."

A second added: "This is how to co-parent and be a united front together."

"I love seeing your family all together. It's nice seeing Bruce smile. May God bless you all," another said.

And a fourth user wrote: "A huge hug to Bruce. I grew up with his movies. You are a beautiful family."

Bruce and Demi got married in 1987 and share three children: Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 28. They then divorced in 2000.

The Die Hard star tied the knot with actress Emma Heming in 2009. They welcomed their daughter Mabel in 2010 and daughter Evelyn in 2014.

While Demi also remarried actor and comedian Ashton Kutcher in 2005, the pair divorced in 2013.

Back in March the family announced the news of Bruce's diagnosis. In a statement shared on Instagram, they wrote: "To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities.

“As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.”

After the news of Bruce's diagnosis. Many Hollywood stars including John Travolta, Matthew Perry, M Night Shyamalan, and Jamie Lee Curtis have sent their support to the actor.

Bruce has starred in many hit movies such as the Die Hard series, Pulp Fiction, Armageddon, Moonrise Kingdom, 12 Monkeys and Looper.
