Chad Ochocinco Draws Mixed Reactions After Selling Braiding Courses to Help Men Save Money

While some people show support to the former professional football player for promoting the courses, others are not buying his claim as they think he was joking.

AceShowbizChad Ochocinco broke the Internet with his latest post. On Sunday, July 23, the former NFL star promoted his braiding courses to help men save money, but social media users had mixed reactions to it.

Making use of Instagram, the 45-year-old shared a video of him braiding a woman’s hair. He captioned it, “Fellas you can save ya money if you learn to do all the basic necessities when it comes to a woman’s upkeep, sign up for my classes & YouTube tutorials, for only $20 you can save thousands a year taking my course. Read my bio for more info & what i excel at.”

Many were not buying Chad’s statement as they thought he was joking. “She been sitting there since Thursday but he’s getting it done,” one user quipped, while another commented, “Ion know that braid looking a lil different than the other ones.”

A third suggested, “U are not doing her hair, Chad. Stop. Lol.” Someone else replied, “Now I sat here and watched you flip that hair over and over. Let the real braided do her job.” A different individual chimed in, “Haters going to say the real braider is holding the camera.”

Others, meanwhile, showed support to the former professional football player. “Save this man at all cost, he’s a national treasure,” one fan gushed. “I love the man that you are for your wife and girls! You put in the real effort where it counts!” another raved, while one person exclaimed, “The most frugal rich brother I know! Can’t knock the hustle.”

Earlier this year, Chad defended his decision to wear the same outfit for 3 days straight. After wishing his followers a happy new year, Chad said, “Day 3 of me here in the Bahamas without all the kids. And yes, I’m still wearing the same outfit. They cost me every penny.” He also added that he’s more of a Zara type of person.

“Because of the price point, it’s supposed to be worn 3 days in a row. … And I’m going to keep wearing it until I feel like I got my money’s worth out of this,” he continued. “While in the Bahamas, I went to different places so the chance of me seeing the same people twice is none.” He also noted that he didn’t care even though he was being made fun of.
