Ellie Warner announced that she is pregnant with her first child with her boyfriend Nat Eddleston on Friday night’s Gogglebox – while Pete Sandiford revealed his wife is expecting their SECOND child on the same episode.

Reality TV star Ellie, 31, announced the joyful news on the show where she appeared alongside her sister Izzi – who she showed her ultrasound scan to.

For Ellie’s announcement she told her sister Izzi: ‘I went for a scan on Saturday. That’s the picture’ – who then joked it looked like an alien.

Ellie, who has been dating her boyfriend Nat Eddleston since 2018, also reflected on the moment she showed her mother the scan.

‘When I showed mum the picture she said, ”Oh can I take a picture” and you didn’t even look at it for two minutes,’ she said.

To which Izzi responded: ‘I did! I told you where the things were, I’ll stare at it a bit longer just to make you happy.’

Nat recently moved in with Ellie, and briefly appeared alongside her on the show during the first months of the Covid lockdown.

They bought their first home together last year, a 1930s semi-detached house in Leeds.

Elsewhere on the episode Pete revealed that his wife Paige is expecting their second child in a sweet on-air announcement.

He made the revelation as his son Jimmy joined him and his sister Sophie, 26, on Friday night’s episode of the popular Channel 4 show.

Announcing his jovial news, Pete, 28, told his infant son Jimmy that he was going to have a little brother or sister.

As Sophie cuddled and gushed over Jimmy, Pete said: ‘You’re going to have to make the most of the attention Jimbers, now you’re going to have a little brother or sister coming. You’re going to have to milk it!’

To which Sophie then said: ‘Yeah you’re going to be a big brother,’ before both siblings cheered in delight.

Viewers were quick to take to Twitter to offer some congratulatory messages for both Pete and Ellie.

‘2 baby announcements in an hour ep, How exciting, congrats both,’ wrote one person.

Last week meanwhile, Ellie hinted on the show that she wants to marry Nat as she spoke about her dream wedding.

‘After we went to see Westlife the other night, I decided I want Flying Without Wings to be my first dance at our wedding. Me and Nat,’ she said.

Her sister however said she chose the wrong song, quipping back: ‘You can’t have Westlife as your first dance! Let’s just stop right there.’

Hairdresser Ellie has appeared on Gogglebox with her sister Izzi since 2015 but the pair took a hiatus from the show after Nat was hit by a car.

Back in March, it was reported that Nat was left fighting for his life after he was hit by a car in the early hours of the morning one weekend.

Going strong: Ellie has been dating her boyfriend Nat since 2018

At the time, he was said to be on life support after suffering collapsed lungs and a broken neck in the horrific incident, which happened in the Halton area of Leeds.

It was feared that Nat would be left brain damaged and spent weeks in intensive care – but he has since made a full recovery.

In February, just before the incident, she shared a sweet tribute to her man and a picture of him with a kebab and wrote: ‘Happy Valentine’s Day to my one true loves (sic).’

Ellie and Izzi first appeared on Gogglebox in 2015 after Ellie was approached by a friend who worked on casting for the show.
