I’m A Celeb star Dean Gaffney in furious bust-up with Janice Dickinson’s husband

Dean Gaffney and Janice Dickinson's husband Dr Robert Gerner became embroiled in a physical altercation during a post-show dinner for I'm A Celebrity… South Africa, Gillian McKeith has revealed.

The former supermodel's husband is alleged to have confronted former EastEnders star Dean after he attempted to kiss Janice on her cheek.

It came as Janice was still nursing wounds after she had a fall during filming, with her husband becoming concerned that a kiss could potentially contaminate the wounds.

The altercation was revealed by Gillian, who added that the pair were separated by Dean's pal and fellow ex-EastEnders star Joe Swash.

Gillian recalled the bust-up as she spoke to The Sun on Sunday, telling the outlet: "I was sitting there with my daughter Skylar and two-year-old grandson Landon and I became aware of a bit of a kerfuffle. I looked up and Dean and Robert were right there.

"I saw Janice’s husband Robert hold Dean’s arms — he held his forearms tight, pushed him back and there was a push and pull going on.

“Then Dean released his arms and said, ‘Get off me’, and tried to free his arms from his grip before he swore and shouted to get away from him."

After Dean walked away, Gillian shared that the atmosphere in the restaurant remained tense and that you could "cut it with a knife."

She continued: "Joe pacified the situation because Dean and Joe are very good friends. I was just astonished at what went on because I didn’t know he would react like that. I had never seen that."

Another witness to the altercation, told the outlet: "It was more than just a shove. He shouted, ‘Don’t touch my f*****g wife’.

“Dean then started swearing and yelling at him while trying to wrestle himself away. At this point everyone at the table turned to see what was going on and luckily Joe stepped in to pacify the situation.

“Dean did come over again during the meal and appeared to warn Robert to keep away from him."

The witness added that Janice and Robert left quite quickly after they finished eating.
