Katie Price avoids bankruptcy court hearing for fifth time after Thailand holiday

Katie Price has avoided her bankruptcy court hearing for a fifth time, after jetting back from Thailand where she enjoyed an extended break with some of her children and on-off boyfriend, Carl Woods.

The glamour model and mum of five, 44, had been due to attend a hearing over her £3.2m debt repayment at the Royal Courts of Justice today, but it has been pushed back once again, to 7 July this year.

Katie was declared bankrupt for the third time in November 2019 after failing to repay a debt of £3.2 million.

The hearing was originally supposed to take place in June 2022, but was postponed until February of this year.

Katie was supposed to face bankruptcy court in London on 14 February 2023, where the hearing would assess her efforts to pay back her debt owed to her creditors of her company Jordan Trading Ltd.

However, that was then "vacated" and moved to 12 April, before being pushed back again to 7 July.

Katie previously agreed to pay £12,000 per month to creditors of the firm through an individual voluntary arrangement, but these creditors are claiming that she has not been adhering to this.

When the hearing eventually goes ahead, supposedly in July, bank trustees will be questioning the star on her recent earnings including TV work and her income from OnlyFans.

The former glamour model returned to her roots when she launched her page on the adult subscription site in January 2022.

As a video was shared Katie's social media, she held a press event where she was dressed as a nun.

"SUBSCRIBE TO MY ONLYFANS CHANNEL!," she first wrote on Instagram. "I am so excited about getting to know my most loyal followers on OnlyFans and am planning on publishing content that won’t be seen ANYWHERE else. I am going to bare my soul and reveal lots of inside secrets – while having lots of fun in the process."

A source explained to the Mirror in January: “The court will wish to know where every penny comes from, whether that’s from selling her old clothes on Depop or stripping out of her clothes on OnlyFans. Only then can the court make up its mind about her ability to pay.”

Katie was first declared bankrupt in 2019, and in 2021, she was hit with a repossession order on her mansion over a £500,000 debt – meaning if it is sold, the proceeds must be used to clear what she owes.

Asked about her bankruptcy hearing during an appearance on The Jeremy Vine Show, Katie said: "I think you shouldn't be ashamed if you have a bankruptcy because it's for different reasons people go into a bankruptcy. I went through a really tough time in the last few years with my mental health.

"When you go through that, you put things to the side because you can't cope with anything."
