Lil Uzi Vert's 'Pink Tape' Debuts Atop Billboard 200
Lil Uzi Vert‘s Pink Tape has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, earning the rapper his third chart-topper.
The record earned 167,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending July 6, according to Luminate. It is the year’s third-largest debut by units earned and the biggest week of the year for any rap or R&B/hip-hop album.
Of Pink Tape‘s 167,000 equivalent album units, SEA units comprise 154,000, album sales comprise 11,000 and TEA units comprise 2,000.
Meanwhile, 18 songs from Pink Tape debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, making the rapper the 14th artist in chart history to tally more than 100 career Hot 100 charted songs.
The rapper is set to embark on a headlining Pink Tape Tour, which will kick off on on October 21st at The Armory in Minneapolis, with stops in Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles and more before wrapping up on November 22nd at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
