Love Island’s Ekin-Su addresses mysterious shoulder mark after fan concerns

Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has revealed what the mysterious mark on her shoulder is after receiving concerned messages from fans.

Ekin-Su enjoyed some downtime in Essex after the 27-year-old and partner Davide Sanclimenti announced they will be starring in their own travel show visiting Italy and Turkey.

The Turkish-British actress returned home for the weekend after a busy couple of weeks since the couple were crowned winners of the ITV dating show, which has reportedly included signing a £1million deal to become the face of fashion brand Oh Polly.

Ekin-Su told fans on Instagram that she was "enjoying time away", ahead of an appearance on ITV's Lorraine with Christine Lampard this morning (August 15) – when she revealed and Davide, also 27, were moving in together.

Ekin-Su showed off her toned abs in a printed crop top and skirt co-ord in a stunning photo posted during the "wholesome weekend at home".

But a conspicuous blemish on her shoulder visible during the updates drew concerns from some fans.

Ekin-Su later responded to messages she had received about the mark, reassuring people that "it's not that deep" while relaxing in a hotel room.

She said on Instagram: "I've got some people asking me what that thing on my shoulder was. Guys, it's not that deep.

"It's literally just, when I was in the villa, I accidentally burnt my shoulder with the hair tong and it left a scar. But it will go!

"So it's nothing deep – just wanted to let you guys know."

On their new ITV2 travel series, which was announced on Big Breakfast on Saturday morning, the Love Island winners will go on a road trip through Ekin-Su and Davide's native countries, Turkey and Italy.

They will spend a week in each country, sampling everything from local cuisine to bustling culture – and are even set to make a detour to meet each other's families.

Ekin-su said: “It will be all real, fighting, I’ll be cooking for him, he’ll be cooking for me.

"It’ll be two cultures meeting families.”

Rumours of Ekin-Su possibly collaborating with Vogue has also got fans talking in recent days, after it was spotted that Vogue editor in chief Edward Enninful had been liking the Love Island star's Instagram posts.
