Love Islands Tanya rushed to medics as accident leaves her shocked and bruised

Love Island's Tanya Manhenga needed medical treatment after suffering a nasty fall in the villa.

The student is said to have taken a tumble during filming, leaving her with pain in the arm.

A source told The Sun: “Tanya tripped over in the villa and said she was in a fair bit of pain.

“She was checked over by the villa medics who confirmed she’d just banged herself and hadn’t sprained or broken anything.

“Tanya said she felt a bit bruised and that the shock of the trip caught her off guard."

OK! has contacted an ITV representative for comment.

Tanya's accident comes ahead of this evening's episode where this year's Islanders will be faced with the Knowing Me, Knowing You challenge – the same game where Chris Hughes once famously spelt Jason Statham as 'Jason Staythumb'.

As usual, the game will result in some people butting heads with one another as the contestants are asked who they think is the least genuine.

The girls are also asked which girl they think their partner would couple up with if they weren't with them.

The bombshell questions creates tension between Claudia Fogarty and Casey O'Gorman as she guessed he'd pick Samie, but Casey's answer doesn't match hers.

Elsewhere in tonight's episode, Tuesday 21 February, the Islanders will react to Tanya's declaration of love to Shaq Muhammad as she publicly announced that she's no longer perusing things with bombshell Martin Akinola – leaving him furious.

After saying she made him look like an "idiot" in front of everyone in the villa, Martin will pull Tanya for a chat to address her speech.

Martin says to Tanya: "When I was speaking to you, you never told me you were a liar. You’re not sincere, you made me look like I was dumb, you’re a liar.”

"Is that what you had to get off your chest?” Tanya asks in response, but it appears as if that isn't the end of the pair's heated conversation.

While things between Tanya and Martin aren't going too well, Tanya and Shaq look to be back on track after exchanging their I love yous on Monday night's episode after her heartfelt speech.
