On Good Morning Britain today, Martin Lewis was caught dancing as he believed the cameras were off for an advert break. The funny moment was picked up by viewers who commented on his moves on Twitter.

The 50-year-old explained that he believed the cameras had stopped rolling for a break as he quickly headed to the toilet.

He wrote: “If you’re wondering why the dancing.

“I needed to nip out for a comfort break during the commercials, got up too soon while still in shot, so thought, no choice but to get my groove on.”

His moves didn’t go unnoticed by some viewers who immediately shared their thoughts.

Nita Tennant commented: “@MartinSLewis loved the bit of dad dancing on GMB!”

Ruth Wheeler wrote: “@MartinSLewis loved your dancing on #gmb when you thought the cameras had gone to a break, @RichardAArnold was even funnier lol.

“Great start to the day as always. @susannareid100 @GMB.”

GloryHorns999 added: “Think like Dad dancing, the Wee Wee Dance is so underrated.”

Anna typed: “@MartinSLewis @RichardAArnold love the dad dancing on @GMB.”

Grant Rivers added: “Sometimes you’ve got to style it out.”

Colin Noone penned: “When you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go – so go in style!”

Others joked that he should sign up for Strictly Come Dancing.

Martin’s moves came after co-star Richard Arnold’s dancing was also captured during an ad break.

The pair’s shimmying came after he interviewed singer Robbie Williams.

Following this, he and Susanna continued to discuss the rise in energy bills.

Money expert Martin has been sharing advice on how to manage the rising cost of living, however one viewer asked why he was avoiding a particular topic.

Allan Robbins wrote: “@MartinSLewis still nothing about what will happen to standing charges.

“On @GMB you keep talking only about the KWH charges. Why are you ignoring standing charges?”

“Because the price guarantee is a reduction on unit rates, it leaves the standing charge unchanged,” Martin replied.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
