Nicki Minaj Trolls Lil Uzi Vert After They Debut Alter-Ego in Thailand

The ‘Super Freaky Girl’ raptress appears to suggest that the ‘XO Tour Llif3’ emcee copies her look from the ‘Bedrock’ music video after they introduce their new alter-ego, Leslie.

AceShowbizLil Uzi Vert is getting bolder about their sexuality. After adopting they/them pronouns since last year, the 27-year-old singer/rapper has debuted a new alter-ego while touring in Thailand.

On Sunday, April 16, the Philadelphia native posted on Instagram a series of images taken during their trip to the South East Asian country. In those pictures, Uzi sported emo-inspired hairstyle with pink streaks.

Baby Pluto can be seen wearing a “Pink Tape” T-shirt, which is the name of their upcoming album. The post also included a video of the songwriter eating a cockroach while on the local street market.

They unveiled the name of their new alter-ego in the caption, writing, “Leslie was in Thailand.” Uzi also changed their current Instagram bio to list the name Leslie Chow.

Uzi’s post didn’t go unnoticed by Nicki Minaj, who soon trolled the former over their hairstyle. The “Anaconda” hitmaker appeared to suggest that the “Money Longer” emcee copied her look from “Bedrock” music video.” She resposted Uzi’s image on her Story and captioned it, “She said I can make your bedrock.”

Karlae has also weighed in on Uzi’s pictures. Seemingly laughing off their antics, she commented on the post with several laughing emojis.

Fans also have different reactions to Uzi’s new look. “N***a looking like somebody emo auntie,” someone joked, while another enthused, “Uzi looking like he just joined panic at the disco.” A third added, “I thought that was someone’s grandmother.” A disappointed fan wrote, “ya losing me,” while someone else added, “Find god I beg.”

Another defended Uzi though, clapping back at the haters, “bro why y’all care sm bout what bru does. y’all all like ‘he’s almost 30’. just cause he almost 30 he can’t be himself? Orrrr.”
