Ola Jordan beams as she slips into silver minidress after recent weight loss
Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Ola Jordan was all smiles as she returned to the dance floor in a glitter mini dress.
The 40 year old had recently opened up about struggling with weight gain after the birth of daughter Ella in 2020 and in July 2022 shared a snap of her on holiday in a bikini which she said she hoped would “motivate” her and hubby James to ditch their “mum and dad bods.”
In her latest post, the dancer wrote that both she and fellow pro dancer husband James Jordan were “feeling fitter and healthier” than they had for several years and that they were back in both their dance shoes and their “old outfits.”
James also shared that they were up in Leicester to do their first dance show in “ages,” and added that his wife was looking “amazing.”
The 44 year old joked that he would have needed “a crane,” to lift Ola before sheshed weight, which Ola didn’t take too kindly to as she retorted: “thanks!”
The couple’s fans were quick to comment their congratulations to the couple and many even asked for weight loss tips from the pair, with a few joking that a fitness DVD might be on the way!
One user rushed to reassure Ola that she “looked amazing then and now,”, before branding James “rude,” for joking about his wife’s weight, whilst another unhappy fan wrote “not sure all the little digs about being bigger are needed… why can’t you just celebrate feeling happier and fitter without knocking the people you were before too?”
Ola, who originally hails from Poland, married her husband James, who she met on the dancing circuit, back in 2003.
The husband and wife duo would later both secure spots as pro dancers on the popular BBC series Strictly Come Dancing, with James appearing on the show between 2006 and 2013, whilst Ola lasted two years longer as a pro before leaving in 2015.
The couple were open about their fertility journey, which saw them conceive their now two year old daughter Ella via IVF, which Ola described as a “very positive,” experience.
Since then the couple have thrown themselves headfirst into parenthood, with Ola recently posting about a “very rare,” night out and explaining that she and husband James were enjoying their first ever night away from daughter Ella.
