Russell Brand’s pregnant wife Laura Gallacher shows off her baby bump in a fitted top in her first sighting since revealing they’re expecting third child

Russell Brand shocked fans last month when he revealed he was expecting his third child with Laura Gallacher.

And the comedian, 48, and his pregnant wife, 36, looked in good spirits as they were seen for the first time since the announcement was made.

Heading out for a day out shopping in London on Thursday, the couple stayed close to one another, with Russell wrapping an arm around his radiant partner’s shoulder.

Laura put her burgeoning baby bump on display in a fitted white top that she paired with navy trousers and suede shoes.

The mother-to-be radiated with a healthy pregnancy glow as she went makeup-free on the outing and with her hair swept up in a bun.

By her side was Russell, who kept things casual in a striped shirt and jeans teamed with a navy blazer.

The Get Him to the Greek star wore his long hair in a half up style and completed his look with white high top Converse.

Russell’s outing came after he revealed they were expecting their third child on The Diary of a CEO podcast.

Russell, who is proud dad to daughters Mabel, six, and Peggy, four, gave a rare insight into fatherhood and at one point, broke down in tears.

Stephen told him: ‘You fell in love and you’ve got two children. You’ve got a third on the way, around the corner. That’s a very special love you have found.’

Of being a father, Russell said: ‘It taught me there is a lot more important in this world than me.

‘There’s a lot more important stuff in this world then what I want, think or reckon.

‘It taught me that love is real. It teaches you everything to become a father. All lessons are there.’

The TV star then became emotional and fought back tears as he spoke about a ‘future he won’t be a part of’, which Steven quizzed him on.

Not making much sense, he said: ‘Any old man, any old woman. My little girls, it’s just so beautiful.’

The couple married in 2017 at an intimate service near their home in Henley-on-Thames.

Elsewhere in the interview, Russell spoke about his dark battle with addiction to cocaine, heroine and alcohol.

Last year, the comedian celebrated 20 years of sobriety after successfully tackling his issues with Class A substances and alcohol in 2002.

At the height of his addiction he had more than a dozen brushes with the law and spent three months in rehab.

Russell now lives worlds away from his partying heyday as he revealed he now wakes up in the morning, meditates, does yoga and has a green juice.

‘It’s probably only by the time I got clean from crack, and heroine and alcohol, that I’d been having an anxiety attack for my entire life,’ he said.

‘My life has been defined my addiction, and addiction is in part a lack of connection, an attempt to synthesize the connection between self, other and god.’

‘My initial solution to feeling weak and disconnected and lonely and somehow silently brilliant was to try and become successful, was to try and become famous,’ he added.
