Tom Parker’s wife Kelsey has told how she’s facing the “hardest challenge” yet since the tragic death of her The Wanted husband, who died of a brain tumour six months ago, aged 33. As Kelsey prepared for the wedding of two of hers and Tom’s closest friends without her beau by her side, she admitted the day of the nuptials would be “the hardest” yet in the grieving process.
Holding onto the knowledge that to be loved is everything and we loved hard

Kelsey shared her heartbreak with her 357,000 followers on Instagram yesterday afternoon, declaring the moment “another milestone”.
“6 months to the day since we lost Tom but you’re still here @tomparkerofficial in everything we do,” she exclaimed.
She had just arrived at a country hotel to witness a close pal, also named Kelsey, and her fiancé Dean tying the knot.
“I’m so excited to watch my best friend get married to the best guy we could have chosen for her,” Tom’s widow continued.

“[Dean was] the only man Tom ever approved of for our Kel!”
“Tom would be so proud of you both and I know he’s gutted to be missing out on this special day,” she declared.
“Not having him by my side tomorrow will be one of the hardest challenges I’ve faced yet, but I will do it.”
She promised her followers that “wedding spam” was “incoming” as she prepared to document the celebrations with her camera.
“I am determined to make it the best day for Kels, Dean and all our friends and family,” Kelsey told the world.
“But before we start the celebrations I just wanted to do a little post to my Tom.
“This week has been one of the hardest yet and I would give anything to be sharing this weekend with you.”
Comforting herself, she added that she was “holding onto the knowledge that to be loved is everything and we loved hard”.
“I would say I do to you a million times over,” the crestfallen widow told Tom in view of the world.
She then told him she loved him one last time, with the hashtag “#positiveparkersforever”, before putting her energy into wishing Kelsey and Dean a great wedding.
Loose Women star Nadia Sawalha caught sight of her post and immediately sent warm wishes.
“So bloody tough .. take it a minute at a time hunny,” she urged her, before signing off with a kiss.
The post received more than 32,000 likes, with some fans of The Wanted reassuring Kelsey that Tom would be there on the wedding day too.
@mollyalice_ declared: “He will be with you all through every single moment of this weekend! Sending you so much love – you’ve got incredible people around you to pick you up this weekend and always!”
Meanwhile, @mrsbmillerco added: “I can’t wait to see photos of you all celebrating in the way I’m sure Tom would have done too.”
Heartbroken Kelsey now parents the two toddlers she and Tom shared – three-year-old Aurelia and two-year-old Bodhi – but fortunately she seems to have plenty of support from her friends.
