Addison Rae admits she’s been “struggling” since Page Six broke the news that her dad, Monty Lopez, allegedly had a five-month affair with a 25-year-old woman.
“I’ve really been struggling to post and get out and do things but I love you all and you mean so much more to me than I can ever express,” the TikTok star, 21, tweeted on Monday.
“My life is forever changed thanks to all of the people who decided to care about me and support me,” she added. “I love y’all <3 life is weird but worth it.”
Rae, who has nearly five million followers on Twitter alone, received so much support from fans that the hashtag “#WELOVEYOUADDISON” began trending on Twitter.
“@whoisaddison take your time, relax, focus on your mental health and your body first! you are important to me and all of your supporters and friends and we want the best for you,” one fan tweeted. “we made this hashtag #weloveyouaddison so it will be easier for you to see our messages”
Another added, “Please never forget that we are here for u, u deserve all the best things in the world baby, u are loved, u are important, please take care of yourself. Love u <3.”
Rae’s tweet marks the first time she’s seemingly addressed the drama involving her father, 46, and Renée Ash. The brunette claimed to Page Six that Lopez allegedly carried out a five-month affair with her – despite still being married to Sheri Nicole Easterling.
“Unfortunately, he misled me … he lied to me,” Ash claimed in her interview with Page Six, adding that Lopez allegedly told her that his marriage was over when it was not.
“He told me that we were going to be together and have babies together,” she alleged. “He told me a story of his marriage that convinced me that they were apart and in the process of getting a divorce.”
On July 7, the same day our interview with Ash went live, Easterling wrote about the “challenging and overwhelming” situation via her Instagram Story.
“Personal matters being brought public are always challenging and overwhelming for anyone involved. I will be okay,” Easterling — who shares daughter Rae and sons Enzo, 14, and Lucas, 8, with Lopez — wrote at the time.
“My biggest concern is -and always will be- my children and their fragile hearts and minds. I will always do my best to protect them.”
Easterling has since changed her Instagram bio to “single mom” and both she and Rae have unfollowed Lopez on the app. Lopez, Easterling and a rep for Rae did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.
