Are pharmacies open on the Christmas Bank Holiday? | The Sun

WITH the Christmas bank holiday fast approaching, you might find yourself short on medication and need to quickly run to the pharmacy.

But you might be wondering if your local pharmacy will be open – here is all the information you need so you do not get caught out.

Are pharmacies open on the Christmas bank holiday?

All pharmacies will be closed on Christmas day.

This includes Lloyds Pharmacy, Boots pharmacies, and Wells Pharmacy.

Lloyds Pharmacy is open on Christmas eve from 9am to 1pm, for shoppers needing last minute essentials.

All of their branches will be closed on Christmas day, Boxing day and December 27 as that is also a bank holiday.

Lloyds will be open for limited hours again on New Year's eve, but are closed on New Year's day and January 2.

Boots will be closed on Christmas day, but many of their branches will look to reopen on either Boxing day or December 27.

To check the hours of your nearest Boots store, simply access their Store Locator tool, enter the postcode or address and it'll give you all the updated timings.

To see which store is closest to you and what time it's open, simply enter your area in their Store Locator tool and it'll show you the list of stores close by.
