Disgruntled diners have slammed a branch of McDonald’s, branding it the worst in the UK and describing it as ‘disgusting’.

Among the poor Tripadvisor write-ups of the eatery in Kingswinford near Dudley, are 78 one-star reviews out of its 127 write-ups.

The overall rating of the branch is two stars, with disappointed customers sharing their discontent over the ‘terrible’ food and ‘non existent’ customer service.

Others have talked about how their orders are often incorrect, with some also criticising the ‘dirty tables’.

One reviewer wrote: ‘What a disgusting meal we have just had delivered!! 2 items missing and items what were there were stone cold.

McDonald’s in in Kingswinford near Dudley (pictured) is thought to be one of the chain’s most poorly reviewed eateries in the UK

‘Rang them and was told contact just eat not here !! Never ever will we use this branch again. Customer service non existent.’

Another one-star write-up said: ‘Constant wrong order and low quality food. I even told the women to check my order as it’s always wrong.

‘She then went on rant how she’s checked and it correct…..got home and we had missing item. Needs new management.’

And a further reviewer advised others to avoid visiting the branch, writing: ‘Took my grandkids there for lunch, it was terrible. The floor had crushed food and salt everywhere, tables were dirty and not cleaned and neither was the seating.

‘The restaurant was reasonably busy but not packed but I still had to ask where my food was as I had waited about 20 minutes or more.

The Big Mac looked decent and not much different to the kind you would find in any other branch

Diners looked happy and content as they ate in the restaurant, which was tidy throughout the branch

‘When the food came it was barely warm, the dips I ordered were missing and they got the children’s happy meals wrong. I couldn’t wait to get out the place and won’t return.’

Meanwhile, another accused the eatery of ‘sloppy uncaring service’, writing: ‘ We ordered £37 selections most of the order was fine. My wife ordered grilled chicken and bacon salad .

‘When we got home there was no bacon on the salad. So we had to drive back to mcds to exchange

‘Their idea of good service and fairness was to add missing bacon rubbish Said to manager want replacement meal as now stone cold.

Some 78 of the branch’s 127 reviews are one-star, with people blasting the eatery’s cleanliness, service, and food

‘Mcds may feel it’s cheap but certainly not cheerful. When management have no idea of good customer service what hope do you have. Then when you try to complain online the procedure is not fit for purpose repetitive and useless.’

However, some reviewers have left more positive comments, with 14 of the eatery’s write-ups boasting five stars, and nine four stars.

And pictures from the branch today paint a much better picture of the restaurant which don’t match up to the bad reviews.

With a tidy interior and spotless surfaces, the Kingswinford McDonald’s looked welcoming for diners.

And a photo of the branch’s Big Mac looked mouthwatering and fresh.

Among the happy diners, one wrote: ‘First time ordering using the app and had a problem when it came to collection. Gina was super helpful; excellent customer service, care and support. Give this person a raise!’

Another added: ‘Went on the off chance last night . Staff serving were so friendly and happy. The chap taking the order was singing it through and everyone in the que were laughing … had a hot chocolate which I’m rather fussy with wow was lovely.. chip nice and hot and big tasty no bacon was great .

‘They get a rough deal ay this maccies but they can’t be that bad as always a que getting on the drive through…this occasion 10/10.’

Meanwhile, other reviewers were more positive, revealing that they had enjoyed their visit to the branch

And a third wrote: ‘I visited with a friend to eat in. The food was delicious and hot. It was bought to our table by the manager Brittany, she made sure we had everything we needed and that our order was correct.

‘Thank you for the wonderful customer service and food, will definitely be returning.’

A McDonald’s spokesperson told FEMAIL: “We are proud to serve around four million customers a day in over 1,450 restaurants across the UK & Ireland.

“Our restaurant teams work hard to ensure every customer who orders a McDonald’s has a positive experience, and we’re disappointed to hear of any instances that fall short of our high standards.

“We’d encourage any customer with a complaint to either speak to a member of the crew in the restaurant or get in touch with our customer services team.”
