Lizzo’s Brit Awards dress has already won the red carpet, according to fans

If Lizzo is on the guest list for an awards show, it's pretty much guaranteed that she'll be one of the most glamorous stars on the red carpet. For tonight's 43rd annual Brit Awards, this definitely seems to be the case.

Though the red carpet appearances are yet to kick off, fans are already predicting that the About Damn Time hitmaker might just win in the style stakes with a very regal look. Posting to Instagram ahead of appearing at the event, Lizzo captions her grid post: "Brits B***h. Styled by @patti_wilson in @robertwun." She also follows up this carousel post with a head-to-toe clip of her look. "Professionally pretty," she writes.

The 34 year old's gown really is a masterpiece. Created by Robert Wun, a Hong Kong-born designer with a London-based studio, the dress features some eye-catching ruffle detailing that cascades down from Lizzo's neckline all the way to the ground. Considering Robert Wun is known for creating "futuristic" designs for the likes of Lady Gaga and Doja Cat – and, in fact, Cardi B's get-up for her “Money” music video – the label is an on-brand choice for the singer.

As we say, Lizzo's fans are already saying her look might be one of the best of the night.

"The queen has arrived," comments one, while a second says: "This is a look for the books! Stunning!"

A third simply adds: "Opulence," and a fourth writes: "She's shutting the red carpet down".

As for Lizzo's make-up, we've spied a new Charlotte Tilbury launch sitting on her glam squad's make-up table. To give her skin a soft focus effect, her make-up artist, Alexx Mayo, has applied the brand's Matte Beauty Blush Wand, £30 here, to the high points of her cheeks. The blusher only launched last week, so Lizzo is really giving it its moment in the spotlight! The rest of her make-up fits in nicely with the soft and smokey theme, with gold and grey eyeshadow complementing the tones of her dress perfectly.

We're already predicting "opulence" to be a top red carpet trend, so we'll keep our eyes peeled for other stars joining Lizzo in the regal theme as they share more BTS content.
