Love Island’s raciest heart rate challenges from Megan Barton Hanson to Molly-Mae
A fan-favourite Love Island challenge was back with a bang as the villa's sexy contestants don their raciest outfits to set heart rates flying.
Islanders performed their raunchiest Dirty Dancing stripteases for one another while a heart rate monitor records their pulse.
Or, better yet, reveals who's really hot under the collar for who.
Davide set pulses racing as as Zorro, Tasha as Barbie and Paige lived her best Pamela Anderson life.
So as we brace ourselves for baby oil, awkward grinding and plenty of exposed flesh, let's take a look at some of the raciest heart rate challenges of the past, from Megan Barton Hanson to Molly-Mae Hague.
Megan Barton Hanson
Oh, Megan Barton Hanson, where do we even begin?
The model set the ultimate striptease bar with a sexy performance in a Moulin Rouge-inspired outfit back in 2018.
In fact, she herself found it so overwhelming that she later admitted: "I don't know what came over me!"
Well, one thing is for sure, pulses were racing both in the villa and for viewers at home, including former Islander Olivia Attwood who confessed to being turned on.
In a post to Twitter, she wrote: "Right not having them results. Megan even turned me on a bit then."
Megan was known for a few steamy antics during Season 4, particularly under the covers with her couple partner at the time, Wes Nelson.
Maura Higgins
Ok, the girls are certainly leading the way in the ranks of the raciest heart rate challenge, especially when you consider Season 5 alumni Maura Higgins' rendition of cat woman.
Let's be honest, the 31 year old sizzled in a leather cat outfit, and can you really go wrong with fishnets?
The Irish hottie seized the day, and Curtis Pritchard, and used the opportunity to snag a first kiss from her fellow islander.
Curtis Pritchard
Speaking of Curtis, the ballroom and Latin dancer certainly made the most of the task in a skimpy pair of tight purple pants (complete with sparkles, of course) and feather headdress.
He definitely shook what his mama gave him, and those hips did not lie.
The pro-dancer instantly became an internet sensation with his saucy moves, with some fans online even comparing him to King Julian from the animated kids film Madagascar.
You can't un-see it now, can you?
Amber Gill
Newcastle beauty Amber Gill, 24, ramped up the heat in a jaw-dropping purple corset, feather boa and choker.
Very little was left to the imagination and it's safe to say that Love Island certainly isn't a family show.
Which is just as well seeing as the Season 5 winner pulled out all the stops for a risqué lap dance that saw ex Michael Griffith's pulse launched sky high… even more so than for his own partner Joanna Chimonides.
Amber became an icon for all hurt lovers out there, while Michael's pal Jordan Hames did his best to recover the situation, saying: "It's happened to the best of us, bro."
Not sure how often people have their heart rates monitored while a group of sexy singletons strut their stuff, but you know, it's the thought that counts.
Jordan Hames
Fashionista Jordan Hames was oiled to within an inch of his Love Island life as a cheeky butler for his appearance in the challenge.
Never one to be subtle, the star was donned in little to no clothing at all, bar a pair of pants and a bow tie and collar.
The cheeky Mancunian, 27, probably had more than a few invites to social events after his villa stint. Nothing wrong with waiting tables, aye Jordan?
Molly-Mae Hague
Influencer Molly-Mae is possibly one of the most successful contestants to come out of the villa, but that doesn't mean she didn't get down and dirty in the challenges just like everyone else.
Oh no indeed, nobody can escape the humiliation.
But fortunately for Molly-Mae, she nailed her role as a naughty maid.
The 23 year old PLT creative director oozed confidence as she strode towards the boys, calling out: "Did somebody call for the maid?" before giving boyfriend Tommy Fury "the full whammer" (her words, and no we don't know quite what that means).
It certainly worked, that's for sure, as Tommy repeatedly exclaimed "oh dear god" at the sight of his sexy girlfriend.
Mike Boateng
Ok, this is a little more like it.
A sexy former police offer living out the island girls' striptease fantasies in a pair of black hot pants, tuxedo and cuffs.
Mike Boateng took things one step further by pulling his small black pants right up at the back before licking and grinding on the girls.
While it may have left the girls in hysterics, that's certainly one way to raise a heart rate.
Mary Bedford
Social media was all a rage on behalf of Mary Bedford after the blonde beauty was cast in the role of the Little Mermaid for her racy heart challenge performance.
The "queen of the sea" was given a frizzy red wig and ill-fitting green-scale skirt by producers, which made it quite difficult to up the ante in the sexy department.
She later revealed that it "was the worst thing I've ever done in my life"
Jake Cornish
You might not have been the only one to die a little inside when Series 7 Islander Jake Cornish stepped out in… well… Let's go with an attempt at a sexy viking.
He gave it 100 per cent commitment and made use of the cape, fake beard and horned helmet to impress his couple partner Liberty Poole.
Afterwards, Jake admitted: “If the Dreamboys are watching, get on my phone now.
"Get me there today, that’s what I thrive off!"
