A Place in the Sun viewers spot major design flaw in million-pound holiday home
A Place in the Sun viewers were left howling with laughter after spotting a major design flaw in a million-pound holiday home featured on the show.
Channel 4 presenter Danni Menzies was showing hopeful buyer Marion potential holiday homes that she could enjoy with her friends and family in Puglia, Italy on a budget of £120,000 — when she took a break to look around for something more luxurious.
The property expert was shown around a "beautifully restored" three-bedroom holiday, made up of two villas, which was on the market for over a million pounds.

The beautifully restored 19th-century home featured cone roofs, en-suite bathrooms and an outdoor pool — which Danni seemed to love on her private tour.
She said that she liked that the interior was kept "simple and minimalist" and that she loved that "they've kept the arch open for the bathroom".
It did have a sliding door made of frosted glass – but fans weren't impressed as they claim it was a design flaw that could really spoil the romance of an Italian vacation.
One user wrote: "Great, very convenient if you want to see your partner having a poo through a frosted window while you're trying to get to sleep."
Another added: "Even worse if he brings you breakfast in bed if you’re lucky."
However, not everyone hated the design as they took to Twitter to praise its "lovely" design.
A user commented: "Looks nice this one."
"That is truli lovely," a second said. [sic]
The news comes after APITS viewers were left frustrated after a picky couple refused to continue viewing multiple properties on the show – without seeing the bedrooms.
Channel 4 presenter and property expert Jean Johansson was enlisted to help Julie and Alan find their dream holiday home with the potential of becoming their permanent home in Spain.
The couple were hoping to find a property for £140,000 in La Zenia, Alicante that was in a lively location and needed minimal work done for the move.
But viewers were left frustrated after the couple refused to have a full look around two properties she's handpicked for them.
