BGT fans spot tension between judges as Bruno Tonioli ‘booed’ minutes into final

Fans of Britain's Got Talent appeared to have spotted a rift between two judges while claiming they heard Bruno Tonioli being "booed" by fans during the live final.

The hit ITV show came to an end on Sunday night (June 4), with judges Bruno, Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden all on board to give their critiques to the talented acts.

But only minutes into the show, as the celebrity judges made their way onto the stage after being introduced by hosts Ant and Dec, viewers appeared to have heard "booing" when Bruno's name was called.

In addition to this, eagle-eyed fans spotted that when Bruno, 67, spoke there appeared to be a "booing" sound coming from the audience behind him.

Seeing that something may be off, viewers headed over to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One suspicious fan asked: "Is it my imagination or are the audience booing every time Bruno speaks? And also when the judges walked out i think they were booing…what's going on there??

Another said: "Is it just me but were people booing Bruno at the beginning of the show? If so, what have I missed?

A third questioned: "Why are the audience booing Bruno? Is he just not liked?"

While a fourth joked: "The booing for Bruno is hilarious."

But some viewers also appeared to pick up on a rift between new judge Bruno and Alesha Dixon.

After the gravity-defying act Duo Odyssey gave their mesmerising performance, Bruno energetically gave his critique and accidentally stroked Alesha's arm while doing so.

But viewers seemed to think Alesha appeared annoyed by Bruno's light touch.

Heading over to Twitter again, one fan wrote: "Alesha's face when Bruno stroked her…yikes.."

Offering a more balanced view, another viewer said: "I don't think Alesha hates Bruno, Alesha has struggled this series to be heard because of sitting next to Bruno. Bruno has outshone her & she is finding it difficult to deal with, I think she will quit, I will be surprised if she is back next year, I hope she is back."

Last night fans were left stunned after entertainer Viggo Venn won the show.

The 33-year-old proved to be a hit with judges and fans as he took off his yellow high-visibility jacket on stage and danced around to hit dance track, One More Time.
