Holly Willoughby seen arriving at This Morning after Schofield scandal

Holly Willoughby branded 'damaged goods'

Holly Willoughby was pictured arriving at the This Morning studios today since Phillip Schofield’s shock exit from ITV after two decades.

The presenter, who is returning to the programme after taking a break during half-term, was seen looking at her notes ahead of her show comeback.

The mum-of-three has maintained a low profile since her former co-star Phillip admitted to an affair with a young male colleague.

Fresh from a family holiday in Portugal, Holly wore a white T-shirt and her blonde tresses covered her face.

According to reports, the 42-year-old will address Phillip’s exit in a prepared statement at the start of today’s show.

A source reportedly told The Sun the on-screen host hs personally prepared a statement because she wants to tell viewers how difficult it has been for everyone behind the scenes on the show.

Colleagues are said to be sympathetic towards Holly and intend to make her show return as smooth as possible.

A TV source told the publication: “Holly wants to address Phillip’s recent admissions about his affair.

“She will be honest and open, mentioning him by name. She’s not shying away from the tricky subject as she wants to show up for the viewers and loyal fans.

“Even though Holly has been on holiday with her family, she has been thinking about it a lot and tried to process the dramatic turn of events.”

The source added the presenter has written the statement in advance and had taken her time to get the words right.

In addition, they added it is not something Holly has been forced to do.
