Britney Spears ‘planning Meghan and Harry style sit-down Oprah interview’

Britney Spears is reportedly in talks for a sit-down interview with legendary talk show host, Oprah Winfrey.

The pop star, 40, had her 13-year conservatorship terminated in November 2021, and has been very vocal with fans since, on how it affected her life.

She had some more happy news for fans when she confirmed she had tied the knot with long-term partner Sam Asghari in June.

While the couple continue to build their lives together as newlyweds, Britney has been plagued with trouble from former partners in recent weeks.

Her ex-husband Jason Alexander was arrested during the pop icon’s recent wedding and previously convicted of trespassing and battery after attempting to crash her wedding at her Californian home in June.

Meanwhile, Kevin Federline, who was married to Britney until 2007, recently made claims that her sons have ‘distanced themselves’ from the Toxic singer.

Now, it’s been reported Britney is lining up an interview with Oprah in order to ‘speak her truth’ after admiring the way in which the host handled the famous chat with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

‘She is livid with her father and ready to fire back at Kevin. The pressure cooker of the past few months since the conservatorship ending has fired her up, ‘ a source revealed.

‘Britney was encouraged by the way Oprah allowed Meghan Markle to have a platform to speak her truth about her family issues and those with the British royalty.

But the source added to OK! that there are said to be ‘concerns from those around Britney about doing a live one-to-one.’

Meghan and Harry sat down with Oprah back in March 2021, in an interview that made headlines across the world.

The legendary interviewer has reportedly reached out to Britney via her lawyer, Matthew Rosengart.

It comes after Britney hit back at her ex Kevin Federline’s hurtful claims that her sons have ‘distanced themselves’ from the singer.

He spoke out for the first time in a new interview, in which he said their teenage sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, have decided not to have contact with her in recent months.

Kevin, 44, said to ITV News: ‘There were a lot of things going on that I didn’t feel comfortable with. They tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but at the same time, I can tell that sometimes, it hurts to be in that position.

‘So, I made sure all my kids can come to me at any moment and discuss anything. The boys – all my kids – know that they come to me and to my wife and discuss anything. They’re teenagers right now. You know, we talk about sex, we talk about drugs, we talk about all the things that teenagers go through. I want my kids to make all the mistakes they possibly can in my house, because [that way], I can protect them.’
