Cain and Aaron kill Al together and destroy the evidence in Emmerdale twist?
Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) is a man used to getting what he wants; and his deep arrogance has always been a risk to him.
Not knowing when to stop pushing his luck, the Emmerdale businessman isn’t just carrying on an illicit affair with Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) – he is also declaring his love.
Which means heartbreak for Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt).
With a soap affair, it’s not a case of if it gets exposed but when. And Cain and Aaron (Jeff Hordley and Danny Miller) will be more furious than anyone that Al is sleeping with Chas.
For Aaron, it hurts even more as he is not just hurting his mum, but also the man he sees as his father figure.
Cain has long wanted an excuse to really let loose with his rage against Al, and the 50th anniversary could well present the final battleground when he discovers what has been going on.
‘I think Al and Cain have been circling each other for quite a while, and probably been circling each other because of Covid!’ Jeff joked when talking to Metro.co.uk.

‘We’ve had a lot of, “I’m going to get you but I can’t get you because of Covid!” But I think this is going to lead to something if he finds out.
‘I think there could be fireworks but not the kind you get in November.’
But he added that Cain has a good right to be just as worried as Al does, describing his alter ego’s nemesis as an alpha male.
Still, we know who our money would be on. And producer Jane Hudson stoked the flames by refusing to rule out a killing.
‘There is always potential for a murder in Emmerdale,’ she teased. ‘It’s Emmerdale, it’s famous for its murders.
‘There’s normally a murderer lurking around a corner somewhere.’
And it may not be just Cain either, as Aaron is back for a reason and we reckon it would be silly of the writers not to blow up the secret while he’s there.
Both equally volatile and enraged, will Aaron and Cain make Al pay the final price – and then dispose of the body?
Jane told us that one person would find themselves facing the rest of their lives in prison in October; so there must be some sort of murder afoot.
Maybe that’s what will force Aaron back away again?
Jane added: ‘Aaron’s back. Is Aaron going to find out his mum’s cheating on Paddy, who he sees as a father?
‘Is he going to discover that Sandra’s not all about Liv? There’s a huge story happening over there!’
Showdowns aplenty – and not everyone will come out of it unscathed.
