Channel 4 viewers slam human dissection as most graphic thing shown on TV ever

Channel 4 viewers have been left in complete shock after they tuned into My Dead Body to watch a human dissection.

Audiences switched over to the programme and were faced with extremely graphic scenes as the body of Toni Crews was dissected on television.

Toni was a young mum with a rare terminal cancer who had donated her body to science to be studied.

One wrote: "Oh god, the cracking open of the skull will never leave me now. Why am I still watching. This is unbelievable."

Another tweeted: "100% got to be the most graphic thing shown on TV ever."

A third wrote: "I'm only just tuning in to My Dead Body, knowing nothing about it, and I'm astonished. What an extraordinary and selfless young woman to donate her body to medical science in this way. Thoughts going out to her family, as it's a harrowing watch just for strangers.

Others said that they were "absolutely speechless" and that they "didn't know how to feel" but they "couldn't stop watching".

One amazed viewer admitted that they "had their mouth open in amazement" while watching the show.
