Charlene White shares Ant and Decs mistake before making Im A Celeb history

Charlene White returned to Loose Women on Monday (November 21) but did so as a guest as she spoke to the panel about her I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! experience.

The 42-year-old became the first celebrity to leave the jungle and spoke to her co-star's live from Australia in her first interview since being booted out of the camp.

Heading back to the beginning, main presenter Jane Moore brought up Charlene's harrowing experience on The Ledge where she was forced to walk a plank on top of an Australian building.

While Charlene was tasked with standing on the edge for 60 seconds, she revealed that she was actually up there for around 20 minutes.

She then admitted she made I'm A Celeb history during that trial, saying: "They said it was the longest that anybody has stood on top of the ledge in the history of the programme!"

The broadcaster then revealed the mistake that Ant and Dec made during the trial which ultimately caused Babatunde Aleshe to say the first 'get me out of here' of the series.

"Ant and Dec made a mistake that day," she exclaimed before explaining: "They forgot to tell us that they would be removing the plank after we'd reached the end so I didn't know the plank was gone."

The reality star was met with gasps from her colleagues as she continued: "So if I had panicked and stepped backwards, I would've dropped and I didn't know.

"But that's what panicked Babatunde because when he saw my plank move, it spooked him and that's what prevented him from walking out to the end."

Speaking about the arrival of Matt Hancock, she admitted she was extremely surprised by his arrival but did confess that they got on once he settled in to camp.
