Coronation Street fans convinced they've solved twisted link between Harvey and Sam | The Sun

CORONATION STREET fans predict a huge DNA twist with villain Harvey Gaskell being Sam Blakeman's real dad.

In Monday's episode of the ITV soap, Leanne faced murderer Harvey in prison and threatened him for stalking – but she was left reeling after Harvey told her the real reason he wanted to see her.

Harvey accidentally killed Sam's mum Natasha last year on Halloween thinking it was Leanne.

Leanne and Nick now look after Sam and they worry about him as the anniversary of his mum's death approaches.

Leanne was stunned to learn Sam has been writing Harvey "loads of letters" three or four times a week.

And Harvey was shocked to know Leanne knew nothing about it.

He explained Sam is asking him questions in his letters such as "has anyone tried to kill you?" and "do you feel sorry?"

He encouraged Leanne to tell Sam to "get over it" and "move on."

An angry Leanne told Harvey that Sam didn't speak for months after his mum died because he was so traumatised.

But after the tense prison scenes, fans are convinced Harvey might be Sam's real dad.

Taking to Twitter, one said: "Why do I feel like Harvey will turn out to be Sam’s real dad in #Corrie and not Nick?

"I’m not even sure how it would work but I just feel like he’s going to drop a bombshell on Leanne…"

Later, Nick and Leanne informed Sam that Harvey no longer reads his letters and he shouldn't waste his time looking for answers from a killer.

But Sam proposed a deal where he will stop writing letters if they take him to prison to see Harvey face to face.

Nick immediately refused – will Sam give up?

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV at 8pm.
