CORONATION Street star Millie Gibson looked completely different from her onscreen character.

The former soap actress took to her social media as she stunned in a plunging green dress.


Millie, 18, posted several photos on her Instagram where she looked tanned whilst enjoying her Easter Holiday abroad.

She flaunted her new hairdo as she gazed into the distance whilst she dined in a plush restaurant.

The actress was best known for playing Kelly Neelan from June 2019.

For her portrayal of the young character, she won the award for Best Young Actor at the 2022 British Soap Awards.

However, In August 2022 it was announced that Millie had decided to quit Corrie after three years where she was last seen on the Cobbles in September last year.

It was later announced that will be joining the cast of the hit BBC TV drama, Dr Who next year.

It was announced on Children In Need that she will take on the coveted role alongside the 15th doctor played by Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa.

Excited Millie, who played Kelly Neelan in ITV soap Corrie, told the presenters Mel Giedroyc and Jason Manford: "It's insane. I'm so honoured that I was considered for an audition.

Millie also revealed her character is called Ruby Sunday, but joked that she couldn't confirm if it was "Sundae like the ice cream" or the day of the week.
