David Walliams thrills fans and reunites with Little Britain co-star Matt Lucas

Former Little Britain co-stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas left fans “ecstatic” after they enjoyed a rare public appearance together.

David, 51, and Matt, 49, were seen enjoying a raucous night out at the PetShop Boys concert over the weekend as David shared a video of the pair singing along the band’s hit song Go West.

Thrilled fans gushed over the pair’s reunion, with many saying they were delighted to see the iconic duo together again.

“So great to see you two together… at a Pet Shop Boys concert… fantastic!,” gushed one fan.

“I love you guys so much,” penned a second.

A third added: “THIS HAS MADE MY DAD I’M ECSTATIC!!” while a fourth echoed: “This is so amazing!”

But some fans took the opportunity to beg former Britain’s Got Talent host David Walliams to return to his judging slot on the show.

The star was replaced by former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli for this year’s series after "inappropriate" remarks he had made about contestants came to light.

In November 2022, it was reported that Walliams had referred to one Britain's Got Talent contestant as a "c**t" and said about another: "she thinks you want to f**k her, but you don't", during breaks in filming Britain's Got Talent's 2020 season.

Walliams apologised for the "disrespectful comments" in a statement to RadioTimes.com, saying: "I would like to apologise to the people I made disrespectful comments about during breaks in filming for Britain's Got Talent in 2020.

"These were private conversations and – like most conversations with friends – were never intended to be shared. Nevertheless, I am sorry."

But fans appeared to have forgiven him and begged him to return.

“PLEASE come back to BGT! It’s not the same without you!” begged one fan.

“David we miss you on BGT please come back,” said a second.

Other took the opportunity to beg the pair to revive their hit show Little Britain.

“When’s the next Little Britain?!” one fan asked followed by a begging hands emoji.

“Will you two hurry up and do a new series of little Britain. Don’t go woke, bring the old characters back!! Proper comedy,” a second added.
