Davina McCall distracts BBC The One Show viewers with daring outfit choice

The One Show viewers got distracted as Davina McCall appeared on the show to talk about her new book about going through the menopause.

Speaking on the show about her experience with the menopause and how she experienced brain fog that made her break down in tears – viewers watching at home picked up on what she was wearing.

Sitting on the famous green sofa on Monday night (October 3), Davina donned a slinky black silk dress.

Looking incredible while donning the black slip dress, Davina showed off her enviable figure and gym-honed physique.

Fans of the show were quick to comment on the look though, with many distracted by it.

"Is Davina going out clubbing after #theoneshow?" asked one viewer.

Another penned: "Is Davina McCall wearing a night dress wtf #TheOneShow?"

"Davina looks like she’s dressed for a night out, I mean I guess if you’ve got it flaunt it #theoneshow," added a third.

While a fourth asked: "#TheOneShow why is Davina wearing a nightie?"

Others loved the glam display though, with one writing: "I say, that Davina McCall is rather fetching."

And another echoed: "Wow how amazing does @ThisisDavina look."

While on the show Davina spoke about her experience with the menopause and recalled some of the little-known symptoms she experienced.

"I got some symptoms, they weren't the normal hot flushes, so I didn't associate it with menopause or anything – but there were lots of little dots I didn't put together."

She continued: "It started off with things like a bit of low level anxiety, and I'm not an anxious person."

Davina then spoke of how she was trying to work while battling brain fog.

She explained how she was hosting a TV show and had just introduced Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen – but forgot his name three seconds later.

"It was literally like a blank page," she recalled, before adding how she couldn't even read the autocue properly.

After the show wrapped, the producer asked her how she was – but she soon broke down into tears because she felt "so lonely" and like she had "nowhere to turn".

Fans praised Davina for her candour, with one writing: "I can totally sympathise with @ThisisDavina as my brain fog was so bad I lost a job because of it #TheOneShow."

Another added: "Davina looks incredible. A lot of envious people making negative comments on here. She’s doing a fantastic job, spreading awareness of the menopause #theoneshow."

While a third penned: "I love that we are finally talking about the menopause. Well done Davina McCall for being honest about what so many women go through. #theoneshow."
